What follows is a collection of speedway memorabilia and two scrapbooks that Bryan Ellis spent hours creating. We are grateful that he donated them to the New Brighton Museum so everyone can view them.
SCRAPBOOKS
These two large scrapbooks contain many photos and articles of speedway riders during the 1950s, from here in New Zealand and around the world.
Familiar names like Ronnie Moore, Ivan Mauger, Mick Holland and Barry Briggs are just a few of the many riders that are featured. Have a look through and see who you know.
MEMORABILIA
The memorabilia follows the two scrapbooks. It consists of various speedway programmes, as well as booklets on racing.
