The family of Gunner John Hunt have donated items that belonged to him. These items have been photographed and appear here. Gunner Hunt served in World War II. There are several interesting items such as a Prayer Book given to soldiers. The cover is well worn. Also, there are a few Christmas cards produced for the New Zealand Army / NZ Expeditionary Force that were given to soldiers to send home.

This letter, dated 12th February 1940, was written by King George VI to soldiers from 2nd NZ Division to welcome them and wish them well.
